Assassination of Bhutto and Middle East Madness

Graham Bacon
Pakistan sits in the borderline sub-continent area between the Middle East and Asia, having a “hot” border with Afghanistan and Al Qaeda. It is the southern edge of Islamic fanaticism, while its Indian neighbour begins the long arc of Asian culture countries of a different disposition. Pakistan demonstrates, not the Sunni/Shia Islamic faultline, but the sheer hopelessness of the democratic governing model to work in a fanatic Islamic environment.

Bible Guides to the Destinies of Middle East Countries

Graham Bacon

Our most recent article demonstrated the Bible foundation for establishing that a Palestinian state alongside Israel, an international peace making fairytale objective, will not occur. In fact, we pointed out that the Bible outcome of the present confrontation, as presented in Obadiah, seems to be for a five piece Palestinian presence on Israel’s border, just as it is at present, to be finally removed forever. Not only does the Bible present us with the ill-fated destiny of the Palestinians, totally unsuspected by the international community, but the futures of other of Israel’s antagonistic neighbours are disclosed for our learning.

More About Middle East Madness

Graham Bacon

An article last week [7 Dec] titled Madness in the Middle East made the following points;
1) Forty seven countries and organizations had just finished meeting in Annapolis USA in an attempt to set up a two state solution to solve the Israeli-Palestinian confrontation
2) The present Palestinian Fatah leader, Abbas, is the successor of Yasser Arafat who, with Fatah, was an implacable enemy of Israel.
3) The reason why forty seven entities, including Abbas, is trying to set up a Fatah-Abbas led Palestinian state alongside Israel is because Hamas, dedicated to destroying Israel, has driven Fatah out of Gaza into the West Bank.
4) Hamas is infiltrating the West Bank and, according to two Israeli newspaper reports, if it were not for the Israeli army efforts to hunt down Hamas fighters, Fatah would soon lose the West Bank as well. Conveniently, Fatah-Abbas’ only hope of survival is Israel but, in other circumstances, it would assist in Israel’s destruction like any other Arab state. What a mess!
5) The Annapolis Conference went backwards. It referred the peace question back to the failed two year old Roadmap Plan, with the USA now responsible for progress instead of the broader Gang of Four [USA, UK, UN and Russia].

OLMERT SETS FREE 429 CONVICTED ARAB TERRORISTS

by Hillel Fendel
For the third time in less than five months, the Olmert government has released convicted Arab terrorists from Israeli prison in “goodwill” gestures to PA chief Abbas. A total of 771 Arab terrorists have been freed since July 20 of this year. On that date, Israel released 255 terrorists from prison. Shortly afterwards, dozens of wanted Fatah terrorists were allowed to find “refuge” from Hamas in Ramallah, and another 178 were removed from Israel’s wanted lists (conditional on their cessation of terrorism).

ABBAS ADAMANT: ISRAEL IS NOT A JEWISH STATE

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is standing firm in his refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. Abbas visited Egypt and Jordan for talks and was headed to Saudi Arabia when, speaking to reporters, he said

“Historically there are two states, Israel and Palestine. Israel is inhabited by Jews and others. We are willing to recognize that and nothing else.”

PA Prime Minister Salam Fayad said in a recent interview to Al-Arabiya TV, that

“Israel can call itself whatever it wants, but the Palestinians will not recognize it as a Jewish state.”

USA TO FREEZE SOME HOME MORTGAGE TAXES

In an attempt to avoid the looming disaster to the US economy which is threatened by a collapse in the home mortgage area, the USA is about to freeze home mortgage rates, hoping this will prevent a devastating economic collapse.

BLAIR: THERE WON’T BE A PALESTINIAN STATE UNLESS IT IS COHERENTLY RUN

Quartet envoy Tony Blair said in an interview in Washington on Wednesday November 28, he no longer believes that “land for peace,” in and of itself, is sufficient. What is no less important, in his view, is the character of the Palestinian state. He constantly warns senior PA officials:

“There won’t be a Palestinian state unless it is coherently governed and run, and anyone who tells you different is misleading you.”
