Το μεταξύ, στρατεύματα IDF συνέλαβε τέσσερα παλαιστινιακά γκάγκστερ στις πόλεις της Δυτικής Όχθης Nablus, Ramallah, και Jenin ολονυκτίς.

The source added that some 200 Hamas militants who received training in Iran, the Beqa’a Valley in Lebanon, and Syria have returned to Gaza.

A wave of discontent has been sweeping through Egypt in response to mounting food prices and the return of long queues in front of bakeries selling subsidized bread. PA Attorney General Ahmad Al-Mughani is considering taking legal action against Muhammad Rashid, a former economic advisor to Yasser Arafat, after news reports that Rashid is planning to invest $600 million in a construction project in the Jordanian Red Sea resort city of Aqaba. Rashid is suspected of having embezzled huge sums of money from the PA following Arafat’s death in 2004.

The real medications were taken to massive warehouses in Ramallah and Shechem, and were sold for high prices on the black market.

Israeli officials are planning additional “gestures” to ease restrictions on Palestinian Authority Arabs, according to Army Radio. Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak discussed the plans with United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Sunday March 30. The US Secretary of State arrived at Ben Gurion International Airport Saturday evening in another attempt to push the pace on talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Rice said Saturday that one of her goals in her current trip to the region was to convince Israel to ease travel for PA Arabs in Judea and Samaria. On the refugee issue, a Ramallah sources say Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has agreed to a symbolic ‘return’ of 100,000 Palestinian refugees to Israel proper, while PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas is insisting on entry for 250,000 refugees from Lebanon alone. Israeli diplomatic sources said Sunday that the American delegation was very surprised at the extent of Israeli concessions to the Fatah-controlled “Palestinian Authority” (PA) announced by Defense Minister Ehud Barak. NETANYAHU WARNS RICE AGAINST ISRAELI CONCESSION:

Traffic jams began Sunday morning March 30, in central Israel as the police announced a search for one or more terrorists just south of Tel Aviv. By 10:30 a.m., the police announced the arrest of four Arabs and the removal of the high alert. The police have been on high alert for the past few days in light of Hizbullah warnings that it would avenge the killing of its number-2 man, Imad Mughniyeh. The arch-terrorist, responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans and Israelis, was assassinated in his car in Damascus several weeks ago.

VATICAN: ISLAM IS THE LARGEST WORLD-WIDE RELIGION:
According to the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano on Sunday, Islam has exceeded Roman Catholicism as the largest religion in the world. The editor of the Vatican yearbook, Monsignor Vittorio Formenti, wrote “For the first time in history, we are no longer at the top: Muslims have overtaken us,” basing his claim on statistics that show Catholics make up 17.4 percent and Muslims at 19.2 percent of the world’s population. However, Christians (totally) outnumber Moslems worldwide at 33%.

SYRIA CONFIRMS SECRET CHANNEL WITH ISRAEL VIA TURKEY:
According to a Kuwaiti newspaper report on Sunday March 30, Syrian Foreign Ministry representative Dr. Bushra Kanfani admitted that “Turkey is used as a channel of communication” between Israel and Syria, and “listens to both sides.” Kanfani said, “We in Syria don’t miss an opportunity to make peace…. This is our choice - that the conditions [of peace] be fair and just and based on the condition that Israel withdraw to the June 4 [1967] lines. The problem is on their side.”

OLMERT ALLOWING SOME SETTLEMENT CONSTRUCTION:
In a bid to stem a coalition rebellion by the religious Shas party, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert assured on Monday that the building of new Jewish housing units will continue in east Jerusalem neighborhoods and the ‘consensus’ settlement blocs that will eventually remain under full Israeli sovereignty in a final peace deal with the Palestinians.

Israel recently authorized the deployment of 500 PA police in Nablus. According to a report that reached Defense Minister Barak, these forces are working in coordination with local terrorists. NEW PA SCANDAL INVOLVES PEACE NEGOTIATOR: - Khaled Abu Toameh (Jerusalem Post) According to a document released by PA ambassador to Romania Adli Sadek, former PA Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei, who currently heads the Palestinian negotiating team with Israel, deposited $3 million of PLO funds into his private bank account.

ABBAS, IN DAMASCUS, ACCUSES ISRAEL OF ‘CONTINUING ITS AGGRESSION’:
Mahmoud Abbas, the PA’s peace negotiator with Israel, told an Arab summit in Damascus on Saturday March 29, “Israel is continuing its aggression, its occupation, the construction of settlements and the Judaization of Jerusalem.” The success of negotiations is dependent on an end to Israel’s “military aggression against the Palestinian people,” Abbas said. A chilling children’s show was screened this week on Hamas Television in Gaza which portrays the depth of anti-West incitement and hatred among Moslem children, as well as the Moslem desire to take over the world. The program, in the form of a puppet show, was circulated by the Middle East Media Research Institute. The show features a child who has broken into the White House and threatens to kill the United States president. When the latter calls for his guards, the child tells him, “There are no guards, and your people have surrendered.” The boy, weeping sadly, tells the Bush puppet that he has come to kill him to avenge the death of his parents and siblings: The show provides further confirmation of the premise of the movie Fitna, which attempts to show how the Koran encourages Moslems to kill infidels and take over the world.
