SYRIA:
A Syrian official has said that Syria will attack Israel’s Dimona nuclear facility if its air space is invaded! (Arutz) On Dec 30 France’s Pres, said France will have no more contact with Syria until Syria lets Lebanon elect a Pres by consensus! (D Alert)

IRAQ:
In 10 minutes on Jan 10, U.S. planes dropped 40,000 pounds of bombs on an area just south of Baghdad, in an attempt to destroy large caches of insurgents weapons (Wash Post)

EGYPT:

SAUDI ARABIA:
A recent poll showed that 52% of Saudis agree that fighting against Israel should continue until there are no Israelis left! (D Alert)

RUSSIA:
Russia announced on Dec 17, that it has made its first shipment of nuclear fuel to the power plant it is building for Iran in Bushehr. (Meid) Russia is to sell more than 24 of their S300 missile air defence systems to Iran. LEBANON:

UN EU:
