Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is standing firm in his refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. رئيس السلطة الفلسطينية محمود عباس يقف الثابت في رفضه للاعتراف باسرائيل كدوله يهوديه. PA Prime Minister Salam Fayad said in a recent interview to Al-Arabiya TV, that رئيس وزراء السلطة الفلسطينية سلام فياض وقال في مقابلة اجريت مؤخرا الى التلفزيون العربية نت ، ان

“Israel can call itself whatever it wants, but the Palestinians will not recognize it as a Jewish state.” "يمكن لاسرائيل ان الكلمه نفسها ما تشاء ، ولكن الفلسطينيين لن تعترف انها كدوله يهوديه".
