[أبديه] ينذر نبوة الوقت عندما إسرائيل مسيطرة كنت سيمدّد أن يتضمّن الأراضي الآن أساسيّا في الأيادي من الفلسطينيات (يدعى [إدوم] و [إسو] في [أبديه]). سيدمج خمسة مناطق كنت داخل إسرائيل مناسبة [[أبا] 1:19 - 20] - غزّة ([فيليستيا] في [أبديه]), مملكة من الأردن شماليّة ([جلد]), والأردن جنوبيّة (أجبال [إسو]), الضفّة الغربيّة ([إفريم] و [سمريا]) ولبنان جنوبيّة (شمال إلى [زرفث]).

هذا يمثّل تجديد مقبلة أراضي يعطى ب [غد] إلى إسرائيل إثنا عشر قبائل, "أنت سوفت سيسكن في الأرض أنّ أنا أعطيت إلى آباءك". ([إزكيل] 36:28يرى) [ا] سمة [أبديه] أنّ, هو إسرائيل بنفسي أنّ يستردّ هذا مناطق من الفلسطينيات دون إلهة مساعدة مرئيّة (* بطاقة في النهاية) هناك يكون ما من شك أنّ الإستعادة بإسرائيل من هذا مناطق سيتضمّن يقصف, [شلّينغس], صواريخ, دباب واحتلال بقوات إسرائيليّة أرضيّة, على مقياس كبيرة بعيدا من نحن يتلقّى فقط نشهد في لبنان جنوبيّة.

علاوة على ذلك, سيحتاج الإستعادة إسرائيليّة من هذا أراضي إسرائيل نية من احتلال دائمة. هذا الفرق حاسمة بين أنّ عملية وماذا قد كان إسرائيل مقاربة [هيثرتوو].

[ثر يس ليتّل دووبت ثت] سيكون الجيش لبنانيّة ومنظّمة الأمم المتّحدة [بس-كيبرس] يعجز أن يوقف [هيزب]' الله ويعجز أن يمنع بعيد حاربت في لبنان. إن إسرائيل يضطرّ بشكل متكرّر غزات لبنان جنوبيّة أن يمنع صاروخ وحافة هجوم على تربته, أنت تفكّر واحدة يوم هو سيقرّر أن يبقى في لبنان جنوبيّة? [أف كورس]. وقت تالية? وعندما يقرّر هو أنّ هذا وقت نحن سنذهب داخل وسيبقى, الجزء أولى من Obadiah 1:20 will come to fruition.

And what about Gaza? How many times have Israeli forces been into Gaza in attempts to stop rocket attacks on south Israel? Sooner or later they will decide to stay!

Can you imagine the world’s hysterical reaction to such moves? The ravings in the UN will be awesome. The BBC will be enormously offended.
The Arabs thunderous rhetoric will be devastating. The Moslem world will apply yet more sanction.

Obadiah nominates five pieces of land to be attached to Israel. Do you think Israel could do it all at once? North, south, east and west? Not likely. Can you imagine the building crescendo of condemnations, accusations, inflammatory declarations. rantings, as Israel proceeds, step by step, to fulfil Obadiah’s prophecy.

The suggestion is that the UN will do nothing, as usual, but eventually will be forced to act against Israel. Two more prophecies now come into play. One is Isaiah 63, “I looked and there was none to help:” Israel is on its own and Zechariah 14:2-3, “I will gather all nations to the battle against Jerusalem….then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations”. Perhaps the UN may send a representative force of many nations, against Israel.

The eventual result is that the visible power of God is employed on Israel’s behalf and Jerusalem is established as an appropriate site for the centre of Jesus rule.

(* Notice that Isaiah 63 does describe God’s visible power in a final dealing with Edom and Bosrah, presumably due to Israel’s inability to complete the removal of the Palestinians. Obadiah’s list does not include Bashan, Reuben’s old land, now the Golan Hts claimed by Syria and not by the Palestinians. Bashan is apparently recovered in a separate action)
