([أروتز]) [ا] يكشف تقرير في أكتوبر - تشرين الأوّل 9 زيادة ضخمة في أسلحة يهرّب داخل غزّة مع 70 خريجة [كتوشا] يتضمّن! Later 10 Pals were arrested in the West Bank Also on Oct 7 the Director of a Christian Bible Shop in Gaza City was stabbed, his head was crushed and he was shot to death!! A US report on Sept 18 claims the USA has failed to generate ‘traction’ on its latest Middle East Summit peace effort. (Arutz) On Sept 25 Mr Bush told the U.N. to “LAY-OFF ISRAEL”, reform its Human Rights Council and take note of countries with shocking human rights records! (Arutz) A report on Sept 26 indicates USA’s war budget for 2008 may reach $190 billion!! (Wash. Post) A former US Ambass. to the UN, John Bolton, has advised Mr Bush to bomb the Iranian nuclear plants (Arutz) The Pentagon has approved a $1.2 (Bill) armaments package to replenish Israel Air Force stocks depleted in the 2006 Lebanon war! (D Alert) 79 US Senators wrote to Condo Rice asking her to insist that Arab govs stop supporting terrorism, among other things. (Arutz) On Oct 5 Mr Bush again stated that US policy is to see a two-State solution between the Pals and Israel! (Ha’aretz)

SYRIA:

Further info on the Israeli air strike named OPERATION ORCHARD in east Syria suggests the strike was against a nuclear site or nuclear material arriving from North Korea! Some commentators are claiming that Israel seems highly delighted with the results of their air strike. Some say the strike may have also been a trial run for an attack on Iran(Meid) Some Israeli press circles claiming to have knowledge say that Israel delivered a stunning blow to Syria, who suffered ´heavy losses” !! It is claimed that Israel accumulated info on the site for several months and finally presented the evidence to Mr Bush. Materials taken from the site by an Israeli elite unit, and tested in USA confirm their origin as North Korea. It is amazing that there is a total lack of condemnation from other Mid East countries and Europe about the attack! It is interesting to note that USA was hesitant about the attack, but Israel finally pressed on WITH US help!(Arutz) Syria has the largest arsenal, and stockpile of chemical weapons in the M.East & is showing increasing relations with North Korea, who provides its missiles (D Alert) A report just released, reveals that on July 26, 15 Syrian officers and dozens of Iranian engineers were killed in an attempt to mount a mustard gas chemical warhead on to a Scud-C missile in the Syrian town of Halab. Many more people were injured by VX gas and Sarin nerve gas!(D Alert) Syria has said it will not attend George Bush’s peace summit unless Israel addresses the need for the return of the Golan to Syria. (Arutz) On Oct. 4 Pres Bush warned Syria not to interfere in Lebanon’s Pres. elections (Ha’aretz) A report on Oct 11 says that Pres. Assad will not attend the Washington summit as it would not serve Syria’s interests to do so! (Meid)

ISRAEL:

Reports indicate Israel locked down the West Bank and Gaza from Wednesday Sept 12, for 7 days, during the Rosh Hashana period (Meid) The IDF arrested 18 wanted terrorists in Judea and Samaria on Sept 12, and confiscated guns and ammunition. RUSSIA:

A report on Oct 2 reveals that Russia sent technicians to Syria to upgrade its Russian made air defence system, which Israel foiled during the attack on a Syrian nuclear facility, by using a system operated by F-15 jets and a fleet of specialist electronic warfare aircraft over the Med. Sea. The transmitted signals jammed the Russian made radar and the Syrian communications. (D Alert)

EGYPT:

On Sept 29 Egyptian authorities re-opened the Rafiah crossing, closed since Hamas took over Gaza, to allow over 8o ‘stranded’ Hamas terrorists to re-enter Gaza. (Arutz) A report on Oct 2 shows Egypt moving aggressively against the last remaining Moslem Brotherhood cells. (D Alert)

IRAN:

On Sept 16 Pres Ahmadinejad again predicted the end of the Israel State and promised to put his country’s nuclear tech. at the service of anyone determined to confront the west and USA (D Alert) With Ahmadinejad visiting New York, large groups were protesting his visit at the UN Building (Meid) Ahmadinejad was refused permission to visit the GROUND ZERO location to lay a wreath!!! (Meid) An Iranian website affiliated with the Teheran regime has warned that 600 Iranian missiles are pointed at Israel and will be launched if there is any attack on Iran or Syria!! A team of US lawyers were seeking to have Ahmadinejad arrested in USA as a war criminal!! (Arutz) Pres. Ahmadinejad addressed New York’s Columbia Uni. on Feb 24. He said Iran was a friend to the Jews but called for a referendum to determine the “fate” of Israel!!! (Arutz) The Iran National Council of Resistance has asserted at a news conference in Paris that the Iran gov. is building a secret underground military nuclear facility 5 klms from its Natanz complex and it will be operational; in 6 months. (D Alert) Iran’s proud boast of a home produced jet fighter has proved hollow. Its based on US. F-5 technology of 20 years ago!! (D Alert) A report on Oct 4 reveals that not only is Iran worried about the failure of the Syrian air defence systems against the recent Israeli incursion, but Syria and Russia are also extremely worried for their air defences are also wide open! (Ha’aretz) A Haifa Geostrategist pointed out on Oct 12 that 2 missiles on the Iranian islands of Karaj & Siri would reduce Iran’s oil income from $60 (Bill) to zero!!

SAUDI ARABIA:

Saudi Arabia and Egypt both recently denied entry to Hamas leader Mashaal of Damascus, concerned about Hamas links to Iran and other terrorist organisations! (Meid) A report on Sept 21 claims 1,000 Saudis are training in Syrian terror bases. Hundreds more are training in Pakistan, Iran & Afghanistan! (D Alert)

(Arutz) On Oct 10 Mr Abbas demanded full Israeli withdrawal to pre-1967 borders ahead of the Nov. summit! LEBANON:

A Lebanese anti-Syria parliamentarian was murdered by a bomb in his car on Sept 19 (D Alert) A report on Oct 1 shows there are up to 2,000 Iranian soldiers in Lebanon supporting and training Hizb’Allah terrorists!
