In an apparent attempt to influence Israel’s thinking prior to upcoming Middle East Summit, the head of the Palestinian negotiating team Ahmed Qureia threatened that if a joint Israeli-Palestinian statement is not formulated BEFORE the Summit, the Palestinians might not participate in it. في محاولة واضحة للتأثير على تفكير اسرائيل قبل القمة المقبلة الشرق الأوسط ، ورئيس فريق التفاوض الفلسطينى احمد قريع هدد انه اذا كانت مشتركة بين الاسرائيليين والفلسطينيين ليست صياغه البيان قبل انعقاد مؤتمر القمة ، فإن الفلسطينيين قد لا تشارك فيه.

In another veiled threat Mr Abbas said that “There is no independent Palestinian State without Jerusalem as its capital”!!” As well, Israel has been confronted with Palestinian demands for the release of ALL Palestinian prisoners in Israeli gaols. في آخر محجبات وتهديد السيد عباس وقال انه "لا يوجد اي الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة دون وعاصمتها القدس الشريف"! Syria got into the act by demanding the return of the Golan Heights “by any means necessary!!” Syria again said that Israel must pay the price for recently violating Syrian sovereignty, a reference of course to the recent Israeli bombing attack on a Syrian nuclear faciltity. سوريا حصلت في القانون من خلال المطالبة عودة مرتفعات الجولان "باي وسيلة من الوسائل الضروريه!" سوريا مرة اخرى وقال انه يجب على اسرائيل ان تدفع الثمن لانتهاك السياده السورية في الآونة الاخيرة ، وبطبيعة الحال اشارة الى عمليات القصف الاسرائيلية الاخيرة على الهجوم النووي السوري faciltity.
